OUR MISSION

women.js is a special interest group with the mission to increase the presence of women within their organization and to inspire gender equality in tech.

We are passionate about our role in tech.

Challenging the status quo isn't easy—a sea-change takes time. We've inherited a dominant culture in the tech landscape that we are committed to shifting. We aim to do this by playing the role of policy-changers and living examples advocating for a more inclusive, diverse and conscious workplace. This is our time, and women.js is our platform.

Hear From Our Members

Akshaya Mahadevan

We are in a constant cycle of growing, learning and succeeding here. Because I was given the chance to discover my strengths and identify my weaknesses, I truly feel that I'm on the right career path in the right industry. Jibestream and women.js are sowing the seeds of success for women in tech.

Dana Marciniak

The workplace dynamic at Jibestream has fostered the seamless translation of my skills into the tech industry. Its culture continues to break down conventional methods where ‘one role’ does not equal ‘one job’ which has given me the opportunity to learn and grow in more areas!

I love working on challenging projects while getting the support I need in the office as I move into a new phase of my life...motherhood! Interest groups like women.js gives me the chance to help Jibestream build and improve on initiatives that support women in the workplace!
